INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

If you copy and paste a range that contains many user-defined functions, performance is severely adversely affected.
Assume that you have a workbook that uses certain formulas or defined names. If the evaluation of that formula outside usual workbook recalculation is interrupted, for example by pressing Escape, F9, or by clicking the mouse, Excel may crash.
Assume that you set a workbook to manual calculation mode. You use the Range.Calculate method on a range that contains only one reference to a Real Time Data (RTD) topic on a RTD server. In this situation, the connection to the RTD server is disconnected. Additionally, any RTD updates for topics that are referred to from cells in the range no longer update.
Assume that you use the French-Canada version of Excel 2013 or the French Localization Pack for Office 2013, and you set the operating system regional settings to French (Canada). In this situation, the French date format strings used in date formulas may be recognized incorrectly or may result in incorrect display.

NOTE This issue occurs because of operating system change made to Windows 8.1, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 after you install update 2919469 or 2670838.
Excel may crash when you rename a sheet to a function name. For example, "Delta()".

Excel may also crash when you reference to an existing sheet in a formula, where the sheet has a name parses as an Analysis ToolPak (ATP) function.
After you install the May 2014 cumulative update for Excel 2013. When freeze panes are enabled, if some controls are hidden, they may not appear again.
Consider the following scenario:
- You add a drawing such as shapes, charts, forms or ActiveX controls to an Excel workbook, and you assign a macro or formula to the drawing.
- You add a chart sheet to the workbook.
- You delete the chart sheet by using the ActiveWorkbook.Charts.Delete method.
In this scenario, when you save the workbook in Excel 2013, Excel may crash.
