INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You use Outlook 2010 by using the keyboard together with an Assistive Technology, such as Windows Narrator.
    • You create a new meeting item.
    • You open the Scheduling Assistant.
    • You move the keyboard selection to the Zoom field.
In this scenario, when you change the zoom value by using the arrow keys, the Assistive Technology does not say anything.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You use Outlook 2010 by using the keyboard together with an Assistive Technology, such as Windows Narrator.
    • You create a new meeting item.
    • You open the Scheduling Assistant.
    • You move the keyboard selection to the End Time field by pressing the Tab key.
In this scenario, when you try to move the selection to reach the free/busy status of attendees by press the Tab key again, the Assistive Technology reads the wrong information.
  • Assume that you use the latest version of the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI  Editor (MFCMAPI) to connect to a mailbox. When you try to another mailbox on a different mailbox server, Outlook will first connect to the first mailbox server, and then connect to the second mailbox server.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You configure your Microsoft Office 365 account in Outlook 2010.
    • You clear the Use Cached Exchange Mode option for the email profile.
    • You create a custom search folder.
In this scenario, the search folder disappears when you restart Outlook.
  • There is no Write event when a reminder is dismissed in Outlook 2010.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You add a delegate to your email account.
    • You set the Editor (can read, create, and modify items) permission for the delegate.
    • You select the My delegates only, but send a copy of meeting requests and responses to me (recommended) option.
    • You have a recurring meeting in your calendar.
    • One user updates one instance of the recurring meeting and then sends it.
In this scenario, when you or your delegate opens the instance, the Last Modified By field may display the wrong user name. Specifically, it may display the user name of the user who did not modify the item.
  • Assume that you have installed Office 2010 Service Pack 2. When you connect to SharePoint Calendar by using Outlook 2010, you receive lots of event logs for Event 27 in the Windows Application Event Viewer.
  • Outlook 2010 becomes unresponsive sometimes.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have a mailbox that has delegate access to some resource mailboxes.
    • You add the resource mailboxes to your calendar group.
    • You move your mailbox and the resource mailboxes to the cloud.
    • You create a new Outlook profile, and then you add your mailbox.
In this scenario, the resource calendar is removed and then re-added every time you start Outlook.
