INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you try to open a workbook in Excel 2013 from a SharePoint Server 2013 document library in which the Unicode path length is 255 characters or fewer but the RFC 3986 encoded path length is more than 255 characters, you receive an error message that indicates that the file cannot be opened.
  • You experience issues when you try to work with data models in pivot tables and also issues that affect the functionality of PowerPivot.
