INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that the vertical axis of a linked Excel chart is rotated 270 degrees. When you copy or change a field code of the chart in Word 2010, the label text of the vertical axis becomes unreadable.
  • When you print a document in the booklet layout in Word 2010, horizontal white lines appear across the printed document.

Note This issues occurs on HP printers.
  • Assume that you edit a formula in a document in Word 2010. When you save and then open the document again, it is corrupted. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
    Location: Part: /word/document.xml Line: <Line #> Column: <Column #>

  • When you print a document in Word 2010, the content at the bottom of text boxes is truncated. This issue occurs if the text boxes contain multiple paragraphs that have horizontal borders.
  • Assume that a document has a MultiLine content control that contains a line break. When you open the document in Word 2010, a digital signature is declared invalid. However, no edit is made to the document.
  • Assume that there is a template on a network share that is inaccessible or slow. When you open a binary document based on the template in Word 2010, it takes longer than expected to open the document.
  • Assume that a document contains a list in a content control. When you use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to convert the numbered list to plain text in Word 2010, the number for the first list item appears outside the content control.
  • When you use the Send as Attachment option in Word 2010, the attached document has a duplicate extension. This issue occurs if the original document's extension is uppercase.
  • When you use VBA to attach a template from a network share to a document, a global variable is populated in Word 2010. However, the global variable is inaccessible.
  • Table captions are sometimes printed incorrectly if the document is marked as "final" in Word 2010.
  • When you insert an EPS image by using the Insert and Link option in the Insert Picture dialog box, the image is not embedded in Word 2010.
