INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you use the Team Foundation Server 2012 add-in for multiple workbooks, Excel 2013 crashes.
  • You specify a range that contains empty cells in a function in Excel 2013, such as the SUMIF function or the AVERAGEIF function. However, the function may not return the correct result.
  • When you use the smart fill functionality to fill cells in Excel 2013 in certain languages, you receive incorrect results.
  • When you use the xlfAddMenu function in the XLL add-in to add a custom menu in Excel 2013, the name of the menu is incorrect.
  • You create a pivot chart in an Excel 2013 workbook on a computer that has the English language pack installed. You open the workbook and then copy the pivot chart to a computer that does not have the English language pack installed. However, you encounter a 0x80004005 error.

    Note This issue occurs when you have custom number formatting on the chart.
  • Certain PowerPivot components and Power View components are improved in Excel 2013.
