Workaround

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:

Method 1: : Install the refreshed installation images that are available as of December 10, 2012

Install the refreshed SQL Server 2012 SP1 ISO images that are currently available for download on MSDN. Note the new refreshed images will be either for x86 or x64, no longer both.  This will help with download reliability and performance.

Method 2: Download the slipstream installation images from the Microsoft Download Center

Download and install one of the SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 slipstream installation images from the Microsoft Download Center.

Note A product key is required for these installations.
