FIX: The tracking settings of PassThruTransmit and PassThruReceive pipelines are unexpectedly discarded when you remove a BizTalk application in BizTalk Server

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you remove a BizTalk application by using either BizTalk Server Administration Console or BtsTask Remove –ApplicationName:<application name> command line in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 or BizTalk Server 2009, the tracking settings of the following two default pipelines are unexpectedly discarded:
  • Microsoft.BizTalk.DefaultPipelines.PassThruTransmit
  • Microsoft.BizTalk.DefaultPipelines.PassThruReceive
For example, assume that you enable Port start and end events and Message send and receive events tracking settings for the PassThruTransmit pipeline in a BizTalk application. When you remove a BizTalk application, the two tracking settings are discarded.
