Removal information

Note We do not recommend that you uninstall any security update.

This update is installed by Windows Update Stand-alone Installer (Wusa.exe). Wusa.exe does not support uninstalling updates on systems that are running Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2. To remove this security update from computers that are running those operating systems, log on as an administrator, and then uninstall the update by using the Programs and Features item in Control Panel. Click View installed updates to access the update. To remove this security update in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.

Note Removing this security update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6 will completely remove MSXML6 from the system.
