Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You access a mailbox by using Microsoft Outlook in online mode in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.

Cause

This issue occurs because an access denied error occurs when the remote procedure call (RPC) Client Access service tries to copy the rule size property of the Inbox folder to the target folder. In this situation, the RPC Client Access service does not handle the error correctly and crashes.
