Assume that you have Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 installed on a computer. When you use the resource-based throttling settings in the BizTalk Settings Dashboard to set the value of the In-process messages setting to 0, the operation fails.
Notes
Notes
- The BizTalk Settings Dashboard is available in the BizTalk Server Administration Console.
- The value of the In-process messages setting specifies the maximum number of unprocessed messages that can be delivered to the End Point Manager (EPM) or to the XLANG engine. The In-process messages setting is turned off if the value set to 0.
- This issue does not occur in earlier versions of BizTalk Server.
- If host throttling occurs when the number of in-process messages exceeds the threshold, the following information is logged in the Application log. To avoid receiving these events, set the value of the In-process messages setting to 0.
