Symptoms

Assume that you create a general journal batch in a sales journal in the RoleTailored client (RTC) in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. The name of the general journal batch is the same as the name of a general journal batch in a purchase journal. In this situation, the caption of the sales journal is displayed incorrectly. The caption displays the description from purchase journals instead of from sales journals.
This problem occurs in the following products:
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
