INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Outlook 2010. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Outlook 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.




Issue that this update fixes

Outlook 2010 freezes when you try to download an offline address book (OAB) that is outside a firewall.

How to uninstall this update

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
  3. Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.
    • Windows 7 and Windows Vista
      1. Click View installed updates.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2597090, and then click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP
      1. Click to select the Show updates check box.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2597090, and then click Remove.
