INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for the 2007 Microsoft Office system. This update provides the latest fixes for the 2007 Office system.

Issue that this update fixes

Consider the following scenario:
  • You install Microsoft Office 2013 after you install the 2007 Office system.
  • You set Office 2013 as the default Office version to open Office files.
  • You apply an update for the 2007 Office system.
  • You open an Office file.
In this scenario, the file opens in the 2007 Office system instead of in Office 2013.

      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2596620, and then click Remove.
