You cannot delete an Outlook mailbox folder that begins with a special character in its name in an Exchange Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

You create a folder by using Microsoft Outlook that is running in online mode in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.
The folder name begins with a special character. Specifically, the second byte of this character contains the 0x00 Unicode specification. For example, the folder name begins with the following character:
```
刀(U+5200) 
```

In this scenario, you cannot delete the mailbox folder.

This issue occurs because Exchange Server 2010 incorrectly handles Unicode characters that have 0x00 in the second byte.

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:

2582113 Description of Update Rollup 5 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1

To work around the issue, rename the folder, and then delete it.
