View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You send a Multipurpose Internet Message Encoding (MIME) email message by using Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS) in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.
  • The Content-Disposition header for an attachment is set to inline.
  • The message format is plain text.
In this scenario, the inline contents disposition may be removed. Additionally, the attachment is not displayed as "inline" with the email message body in some client applications.
