FIX: Incorrect data may be inserted into DB2 graphic data types when you use Host Integration Server 2009 data providers

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment, you try to enter data into DB2 for OS/400 (DB2/400) Version 5 Release 4 (V5R4). When you use the Microsoft DB2 data providers, the data that is inserted is incorrect.

Note This problem occurs when you try to insert data into a graphic data type table, and you use Unicode by using the Unicode character code set identifier (CCSID) property. This problem can occur when you use either the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for DB2, or the Managed and Unmanaged providers for DB2.
