French translation errors occur when you edit a response to a meeting request by using OWA in an Exchange Server 2010 SP1 environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You configure the language settings in Microsoft Office Outlook Web App (OWA) to French in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment.
  • You receive a meeting request.
  • You edit a response to the meeting request before you send the reply by using OWA.
In this scenario, the grammar of the meeting response information is incorrect. For example:
  • If you click Yes, the information displays "Oui, je participera." Instead, the information should display "Oui, je participerai."

Note "Oui, je participerai" means "Yes, I will attend."
  • If you click Tentative, the information displays "Oui, je participera peut-être." Instead, the information should display "Oui, je participerai peut-être."

Note "Oui, je participerai peut-être" means "Yes, I might attend."
  • If you click No, the information displays "Non, je ne participera pas." Instead, the information should display "Non, je ne participerai pas."

Note "Non, je ne participerai pas" means "No, I will not attend."
