Improvements for Common Area Phones in Lync 2010 Phone Edition when a Common Area Phone does not have a headset

Summary

This article describes the following improvements for Common Area Phones in Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone Edition: 
  • If a Common Area Phone does not have a headset, the headset entry is not present in the Volume screen under Settings
  • If a Common Area Phone does not have a headset, the Text Telephony (TTY) entry is not present in the Volume screen under Settings.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update.

For Aastra 6721ip and Aastra 6725ip telephones:
