INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario: 
    • You create a custom list that contains lots of fields in Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010.
    • You click the New Item ribbon button to open the item creation form.
    • You click the Attach File button to attach a file in the New Item dialog ribbon.
    • You click Cancel to return to the New Item dialog ribbon. Or, you attach a file and then click OK to return to the New Item dialog ribbon.

    In this scenario, the scrollbar is missing in the details pane of the New Item dialog ribbon

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problems described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
