INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You configure Microsoft Word 2010 to save files in Word 97-2003 Document format.
    • In a SharePoint document library which uses Microsoft Office Word Document as the document template, you createa custom column.
    • You click New Document in the document library. This opens Word 2010.
    • You type texts in the field for the custom column.
In this scenario, Word 2010 crashes.

  • A Content control is displayed incorrectly if certain styles are applied to the content in Word 2010.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open an Office Word document that contains a bulleted list by using Word 2010. The indentation value for the list is negative.
    • You click one of the bullets.
In this scenario, the whole list shifts to a position on which the indentation value is zero. A similar issue also occurs on a numbered list in Word 2010.

  • After you save an Office Word document that contains texts and nested tables by using Word 2010, certain characters in the document may be missing.

  • In Word 2010, you apply custom XLST templates to an Office Word document by using the Document.TransformDocument method in the Word object model. However, if an XLST template contains a number level in the transform action, footnotes and endnotes are not added to the document as expected.
