INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When the Excel API xlGetBinaryName function is called in an Excel .xll add-in in Microsoft Office Excel 2010, the definition of the binary name is not returned. Therefore, the Excel .xll add-in does not function correctly.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have rows and columns that contain controls in an Excel 2010 document.
    • You interact with the rows and columns.
In this scenario, the shapes of the controls do not maintain their correct anchor positions.
  • You insert a TextBox that contains no characters into an Excel 2003 worksheet. Then, you use Excel 2010 to open the Excel 2003 worksheet. In this situation, the text alignment of the TextBox is not saved.
